The Make a Mark Chess Tournament

 The Make a Mark Chess Tournament was started in 2011 by a few high school students who wanted to recognize a teacher who had recently passed. Since that time the tournament has expanded every year and was eventually taken under the wing of the Make a Mark Inc. The 2020 contest was the 10th annual tournament and attracted a wide variety of players from beginners all the way to advanced. It was an exciting day filled with lots of fun! 

Chess Tournament Information 

For the time being, the Make a Mark advisory board has decided to replace the Chess Tournament with some exciting, new events like our Game Night in February 2022! That doesn't mean we won't host the Chess Tournament again, so check back periodically for information and news.
