Region 10 Make a Mark wants to thank the entire Region 10 community for supporting the 2022 Johnnycake Music Fest! On a beautiful, picture-perfect June evening, over 2000 people came to listen, sing, dance, eat, play and celebrate our amazing school district!
The family-friendly festival featured musical appearances by headliners and fan-favorites Cajun Ray and the Steamers, Adelaide Punkin & Something Simple, The Mountain Toppers & The Hailey Jordan Band. While the music played, attendees enjoyed bounce houses and games, chess, faces painting, a dunk tank, Plinko and some amazing food & drink. The night ended with a BANG with a stunning firework show over Johnnycake Mountain!
Make a Mark wants to thank the Town of Burlington, especially First Selectman Doug Thompson, Director of Parks & Rec Tricia Twomey and Public Works Director Scott Tharau and his crew. A shout out to all our vendors - the Burlington Lions Club, Evening Sky Brewery, Burlington Spirit Shoppe, Ultimate Sundae, and Dolly's Tater Tots. And we couldn't have done it without our community volunteers - students & adults alike - who manned the bar, the bounce house, painted faces, set up tents & more. Thank you all!
100% of the proceeds from the Music Fest benefit the Region 10 School District in the form of enrichment grants. To keep up to date on the future events, follow Johnnycake Music Fest on Facebook.
