Johnnycake Mini Fest FAQ Page

  • What is the Johnnycake Mini Fest? Our new fundraiser is the mini, mellow cousin of our popular Johnnycake Music Fest... some things will be the same, and some will be different, but we promise fun for all!
  • Where? Hogan’s Cider Mill – 522 Spielman Hwy, Burlington
  • When? Saturday, May 16th – 1pm-6pm
    • 1pm Mini-Golf check-in and start
    • 3pm Live music on the lawn
  • I want to join the Mini Golf Tourney to compete for cash, prizes and have FUN! How do I sign up? Gather your team and go to www.region10makeamark.org to sign up as soon as possible!
  • Can I register for Mini Golf on-site? Probably not, so sign up online to join the fun!
  • But I just want to join the fun AFTER the mini-golf tourney. When should I arrive? Our post-golf festivities begin at 3pm but Hogan’s Cider Mill will be open to the public during their normal business hours of 12n-6p, so you are welcome to come hang out.
  • When does LIVE MUSIC start? Cajun Ray & the Steamers will take the stage at 3pm and play until about 6pm... golfers and non-golfers alike are invited to join!
  • What else will there be to do if I don’t golf? Join in on our Hole-in-One contest beginning at 3pm, browse our awesome raffle baskets, learn more about Region 10 Make a Mark, grab food from one of our food trucks (or enjoy your own picnic on the lawn), sip on delicious drinks from Hogan’s and just mellow out on the lawn.
  • Can I bring a cooler? No outside coolers or beverages please (even nonalcoholic) per Hogan’s policy.
  • But I want to bring my own nonalcoholic beverages and refillable water bottle? Sorry, but only drinks purchased at Hogan's are allowed on-site, including soft drinks and water bottles. (It’s an insurance thing.)
  • Can I bring a tent? Feel free to bring blankets & chairs, but tents are not allowed as they will block visibility.
  • Are there fireworks? I love the fireworks! In keeping with our “mini” theme, there are no fireworks this year... but we agree that they are great and hope to bring them back in the future.
  • Is there a rain date? Yep, Sunday May 17th – same times as May 16th.
  • Where do I park? There will be parking on the lawn as directed by Hogan’s staff as well as overflow parking (if needed) across the street. Staff will indicate and help with crossing. Please do NOT park on Johnnycake Mtn Road!
  • Can I bring my dog? No, please leave Rover at home. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, dogs are not allowed on the premises (although service animals are permitted.)
  • Can I bring a football or soccer ball to throw around?  We know you love to do this at the Music Fest, but unfortunately, we have a snug footprint so please leave these at home. They are prohibited by Hogan’s Cider Mill.
  • What other items are prohibited? No illegal substances, weapons, drones, fireworks or Chinese lanterns. Violators will be removed.
