Mini Grant Application
*NEW*
Make a Mark has implemented a rolling “mini-grant cycle” in addition to our main grant cycle. We have set aside $2,000 for the mini-grant cycle and are excited to announce that we have raised the maximum amount allocated per mini grant to $500. Once the $2,000 is depleted, applicants will be notified by the Grant Committee chairperson and given the option to apply again at the end of the school year during our main grant cycle.
NOTE: During the main grant cycle (end of school year), there is no maximum amount. The $500 cap is only for the mini-grant cycle during the school year.
Requests will go to our Grant Committee chairperson who would bring the information to our next scheduled monthly meeting. The mini grant(s) would be voted on and either approved or denied at our monthly Make a Mark meetings. There would not be special/separate meetings called to approve the mini grants.
Our primary objective is to provide teachers and students with an opportunity to ask for funding during the school year when they have a creative, spontaneous idea and would like to implement it in a timely manner versus waiting for the next school year.
Please contact us at makeamarkr10@gmail.com with any questions.
